Front Of House Manager

Seeking a front of house (FOH) manager to successfully lead Fare Well's FOH operations, staff, servers, and merchandise purchasing. Applicant must have experience in restaurant management, hands-on staff training and development, and the ability to model behavior and promote positive attitudes in order to facilitate a good work environment. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must demonstrate outstanding time-management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. Must have experience managing staff and merchandising, and have excellent customer service skills. All servers and FOH staff will report directly to FOH manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • overseeing and supervising daily operations associated with the FOH and staff

  • hiring, training, disciplining, evaluating, and terminating all FOH staff, including servers and hosts

  • Creating schedules for FOH staff and servers according to need and budget

  • maintaining and executing systems for staff accountability, product presentation, merchandising, and customer service

  • quality assurance associated with all FOH operations including, but not limited to: customer service, cleanliness and sanitation, product presentation, as well as product quality and consistency

  • managing and maintaining systems for communications with FOH staff, including clear and consistent documentation of FOH protocol and procedures, and leading staff meetings

  • managing inventory and purchasing for FOH merchandise and ingredients

  • collaborating with kitchen manager and/or executive chef, as well as the general manager
